ARRL Field Day

Each year the Carbon Amateur Radio club partakes in the ARRL Field Day. 

This year the club had setup a station at the Penn Forest Township Park and was a huge success! In fact, the club was in the news. Check out the article in the times news from the 2022 Field Days

ABOUT

The Carbon Amateur Radio Club was founded in 1948, and our membership consists of amateurs and radio enthusiasts from Carbon and the surrounding counties of Monroe and Schuylkill.
Our members have a wide range of interests, from ragchewing to DXing, contesting to foxhunting, QRP to PSK31, and we are active in ARES/RACES.

Our club station is based in the Carbon County Emergency Communication center.

Renovations to the CARC radio room are underway and we are looking forward to using the new equipment. Once the radio room is complete, we will post pictures! Stay tuned...

Congratulations to all of the new officers that were voted in at the last meeting!

In October we are hoping the Radio room will be ready for the club to participate in the PA QSO Party! RSVP on the club calendar page.
